Our History
In 2016, The Director is an experienced RN specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury, founded Divine Touch CILA Homes Inc. Her career opened her eyes to a profound need for better support for individuals with intellectual disabilities. During her time working closely with this population, The Director became increasingly aware of the gaps in care and support available to them.
Driven by her empathy and passion for these individuals, The Director envisioned creating a service that would address these unmet needs. However, with her medical expertise and consultations with mentors, she was able to get comprehensive information on establishing a CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) home program.
In her moments of reflection, the Director had a divine inspiration to name the organization “Divine Touch CILA,” believing that with faith and dedication, she could make a significant difference.
Divine Touch CILA Homes Inc. stands as a testament to the Director’s vision and faith. She finds immense satisfaction and fulfillment in witnessing the individuals in her care grow more independent and take control of their lives. Her journey, fueled by compassion and conviction, continues to touch lives and transform futures.
